As an underground dwelling creature the Scoria was first encountered when a mining excavation drilled through to the cave system it inhabits.
Curious by nature the Scoria immediately followed the tunnel to the surface and began exploring the surrounding area.
Lacking eyes it is believed that the Scoria locates and tracks nearby objects utilising other senses with some hypothesising that much of its head acts as a sensory organ.
When angered its large claw-like appendages are capable of engaging multiple opponents at once.
