About the guide
This guide holds all the touristic information of the planets in the Entropia Universe. The event leading to this guide was the upgrade of the virtual universe to the new CryEngine (VU 10.0 and further). Not only did all the physics change on Calypso, but also the scenery and locations changed dramatically.
As a result a lot of Entropians got lost on Calypso and also on all the new planets. All but one man:

Sherwood Flu Fortuna
By himself he gathered all the touristic information and location of new teleporters, outpost, cities and remarkable spots. Furthermore he visited the already known locations to describe the new situation there. Writing down the local flora and fauna he went from location to location increasing his already big pile of notes. The challenge now was to share this precious information with fellow Entropians. Flu needed help. And he found the right person:

Weet Tissue Chief
This website and the Globals and HoFs website were already managed by him. That's why he has to be the perfect person to also digitalize the immense Touristic Guide. He layed down the tools to start porting the paper notes to bits and bytes. From this moment on, Flu started to fill the database with his information, slowly but steadily creating the most up to date guide so far on the web. With all this detailed information Tissue thought there must be more possible. This is when they both thought about:

Maps
Because the guide is filled with detailed information including all coordinates of the locations, it was a logic step to visualization. The maps of Amethera and Eudoria were created, with the help of Giuliano adm Noooo for graphics. Most maps on the web are static, meaning there is an image to download. These maps are as up to date as the guide. All information in the guide is directly translated to the available maps that can be viewed on this website.

Mob search
To help the ever lost hunters of Calypso a search function for mobs was added. This also generated a bunch of extra work for Flu. Not only does he need to spot all local mobs, but he also needs to estimate the maturity and spawnrate of these specific mobs. A lot of work, which Flu does with pleasure. Knowing that this guide will help a lot of Entropians find their ways on the vast planet of Calypso.
